Inspired by the principles of aromatherapy, each ingredient has been carefully selected for its skin-replenishing power and its ability to awaken the senses and uplift the soul. In an ever hectic world that is constantly moving, we believe the simple art of ritual can help you to find moments of stillness, joy and an opportunity to simply be. Our collection of self-care products are an experience you can ground yourself in daily to connect back to self.
With sustainability at the heart, we are committed to creating products that are kind to people and our planet. BY THE BE.’s entire collection is made from naturally derived ingredients with no sulphates, parabens or artificial fragrance. We are proudly cruelty free and 100% vegan. Using only sustainable options for our packaging with recyclable glass bottles that can be refilled, enclosed in a reusable cotton drawstring bag. Our ingredients and supplies are thoughtfully sourced from companies who share the same commitment to sustainability and caring for our planet as we do.

As a boutique nail salon owner with extensive experience in the beauty industry, it was a natural progression to explore the process of making products inspired by my passion for organic, clean ingredients. From the beginning, my aim was to create something for body and mind, a product that can become part of your daily wellness ritual to simply pause and nourish. The collection started with hand and cuticle oils, as I saw firsthand the power of hands in creating, connecting and healing.
BY THE BE. was a dream I had during a time of uncertainty and forced contemplation. As someone who works with my hands (and whose livelihood depends on them), I was seeing the effect the pandemic had on our body, our mind and our spirit. I decided to create something special - a product that could connect with people on a deeper level and help them to reconnect with themselves by encouraging an opportunity in their day to practise self love.
An interest in aromatherapy and herbalism uncovered the power of botanicals with a proven history of positive effects for not only the skin, but emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. This influenced the curation of each product in the collection, thoughtfully made with naturally derived ingredients that cleanse and uplift your mind and mood, as well as your body. It is my hope that BY THE BE. will be with you on your journey of wellness as an opportunity to create daily rituals and a gentle reminder to take care of yourself.
